Honor 80 GT revealed the design and chipset
A tablet is also anticipated, and the Honor 80 GT was confirmed to launch on December 26. The company confirmed today that the moniker will be Honor V8 Pro, as the speculations had predicted. Both smartphones were displayed in full size on the Weibo corporate page.
The smartphone was also a part of a gaming presentation in China, which disclosed that it would be run by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and feature a dedicated display chip for an ultra-crisp refresh rate.
The Magic Vs foldable, unveiled earlier this year, was the first model of the firm to use the Qualcomm processor; the Honor 80 GT will be just the second. Given that it will be marketed as a gaming powerhouse, the GT is also the official gadget for a Chinese gaming product with 3D animations.
According to the renderings, the front of the gadget will be a flat OLED with a small punch hole for a single selfie camera. Rumor has it that Honor is getting ready to release the 80 GT at a price that will make it extremely popular with mobile gaming.
We do not have a lot of information regarding the tablet. Three pogo pins are visible on the tablet’s rear, which suggests that it will accommodate a cover keyboard and the already-announced stylus. Whether the customer should purchase these items separately or as a package is another question that can be raised.
Six days remain until the launch’s official launch, and similar teases should reveal more. Honor isn’t really interested in introducing high-end smartphones to the global market. We currently only have an approximate release date for the Magic Vs, and we can only hope that the Honor 80 GT will also be available outside of China.
