A new smartphone launch was hinted at in a teaser issued by Honor on its Weibo page. Following Monday, December 26, the Honor 80 GT will make its official debut after being certified by 3C in China last week.
The new Honor Pad, which is shown in a second teaser, will perform alongside the phone. The tablet’s specifications are unknown, although it will accept the Honor stylus and have an LED flash for the single camera on the back.
The Honor 80 GT, which was recently introduced last month, will be the fourth device in the 80 series. Contrary to the Honor 80 and Honor 80 Pro, the island does not seem to be stylized with the number 8; instead, it will contain three vertically stacked cameras (which could also be interpreted as the sign for infinity).
The next Honor Pad appears to be completely new based on the camera layout and location of the volume rocker. We anticipate finding out more via official teasers over the next week building up to the event. Rumors have it going by the name Honor V8 Pro, and that’s what we’re expecting to hear.
