Steve from OnLeaks provided the GadgetGang with complete renderings of the forthcoming Honor X7a. The renderings show the smartphone in two different color options: Midnight Black and Ocean Blue. According to the renderings, the front panel will have a waterdrop notch cutout. It will feature a square camera cutout with two camera rings on the back. The primary camera is located in one of them, while the secondary and tertiary cameras are located in the other.
In March, Honor introduced the Snapdragon 680-powered X7, and it appears the firm will soon release an ‘a’ model, the details of which have been digitally leaked.
Similar to the X7, the Honor X7a features an HD+ display, however, it is somewhat smaller (6.7″ vs. 6.74″) and has a slower refresh rate (60Hz vs. 90Hz). The 8MP selfie camera has a notch in the display, although it may not have the same specifications as the X7’s front-facing camera.

The Honor X7a boasts a quad camera configuration on the rear that consists of a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP telephoto camera. The smartphone’s 4GB RAM and 128GB storage are powered by the Helio G37 SoC. It comes pre-installed with Android 12 and has a 5,230 mAh battery, which is 230 mAh more powerful than the X7’s battery. It’s not clear, though, whether the charging rate (22.5W) is the same as the X7’s or whether it differs.
According to the source, the Honor X7a weighs 196g and has a side-mounted fingerprint reader. It will be less expensive than the X7. It comes in two hues, Midnight Black and Ocean Blue, and contains a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
The smartphone will reportedly only be available in Ocean Blue and Midnight Black. With the exception of the blue hue, which appears to be a little lighter in the renderings, these are the same colors that we saw on the Honor X7.
With it, the X7a is obviously designed to be the more affordable alternative, sacrificing some of its features to offset a lower price. For example, this time around, a 90 Hz screen won’t be available. This gets us directly to the requirements:
