In June, Huawei debuted the Huawei FreeBuds 5i in China, and now the TWS earbuds are expanding to other regions. They are being offered globally for less than £90/€100.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5i significantly improves on the FreeBuds 4i with longer battery life, better sound and ANC, a lighter body, and all of these improvements while maintaining an appealing aesthetic.
With each bud weighing only 4.6 grams, the FreeBuds 5i case now has a softer, pebble-like feel and weighs 34 grams. Despite the body being 18% lighter than the 4i, the battery’s 410 mAh capacity rose significantly.
According to claims, noise cancellation can reduce noise by 42dB, which is about twice as much as the 4i and a few decibels more effective than the FreeBuds Pro. Huawei has introduced an AI-powered solution that can isolate calls in loud environments by figuring out where the voice is coming from.
Our testing on the Huawei FreeBuds 5i in Blue from Huawei has already begun. Since the earbuds have a 10-hour battery life, we will need time to verify the figures in various situations while using all three noise-canceling settings.
